Course Overview

Being prepared for complications is a critical element of patient care for any practicing surgeon. This course will focus on the recognition and management of complications related to oral and maxillofacial surgery. The specific areas of orthognathic surgery, cleft-craniofacial surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, ambulatory anesthesia, temporomandibular disorders, trauma surgery, obstructive sleep apnea surgery, dental implant surgery, bone graft surgery, cosmetic surgery, management of pathologic conditions, and reconstructive surgery will be presented from the perspectives of prevention, recognition, and management.  The course format encourages interaction between attendees and faculty in an informal environment in order to ensure maximal learning and retention of information.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: Registration fees, less a cancellation fee of $150 USD, will be refunded if written request is received by July 1, 2017. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after July 31, 2017.
